Serving Sunday Community Outreach Day

What is it?
This is a chance for us to live out our vision of ‘Connecting Out’ and go beyond the boundaries of the Connect Centre. We want to show people in Ballymoney that we see them and love them, particularly the most vulnerable and in need.

*What are we doing? *
Jesus’ call to love our neighbours isn’t an easy one and involves us getting our hands dirty. So we’ll be tidying up private gardens, sorting out some outside space at a care home, and doing some weeding and litter picking of council areas in the town.

This is a chance for us to be families on mission, so kids are welcome to join us. There will be an opportunity for them to be taken round the corner to St James’ care home to sing for the residents. Children are also welcome to join in with others doing manual jobs, but will be under their parents’ supervision for this.

For those who aren’t physically able to be involved in the practical work, there will be an opportunity to stay at the Connect Centre to pray/prayer walk.

Please come to the Connect Centre ready to start at 10:30am next Sunday

What do we need?
It is really important to let us know in advance if you plan to be involved. This is so we can ensure we have enough people to cover the jobs we are committing to. If you have not already spoken to us already, can you please contact Chris Phillips on 07949055587 to sign up as soon as you can.
