Sunday Connect.

How we meet…

At Connect Christian Fellowship we avidly believe in the importance of meeting together to worship God and encourage one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25). Our whole church gatherings take place on the first and third Sunday of every month. We meet in the Connect Centre at 10:30am. (click for location details). Our whole church gathering typically begins with a time of praise and prayer, making space for the Holy Spirit to move and minister. We then have a time of teaching from the Bible. Through this, we aim to grow in our knowledge of God’s Word and be inspired to put the teaching into practice in our everyday lives. (click here for latest teachings).

After our time of praise the children get to attend their own Children’s Church. Here, Bible truths are tailored to Primary aged kids and is full of fun, music and activities. (click here for further info about Children’s ministry). After the organised part of our meeting, we continue our fellowship with tea/coffee and great conversation.

At Connect we have a desire to establish a really strong sense of community. To create space for this, we join together in our Mid-Size Communities. These smaller, more relational groups meet on the second and fourth Sunday of every month. They are intended to create the relational space for everyone to serve with others and develop their particular giftings. They provide an opportunity to welcome new people in an informal environment whilst also providing occasions to build deeper connections with each other. We have the chance to
fellowship over food and grow in our faith as we share our everyday trials and triumphs with one another.

You are welcome to come along to any of our Mid-Size Communities. Breakfast Church meets at the Connect Centre at 10:30am Castle Community Breakfast Church meets in the Castle Community Centre at 10:30am Café Church meets in the Connect Centre at 3pm Outlook meets in Portstewart at 10:30am

On the occasion when we have a fifth Sunday in the month we encourage and facilitate people sharing meals in each other’s homes (or picnics on beaches or BBQ’s in back gardens – the choice is yours!) before coming together as a church to have Communion at 3pm in the Connect Centre.

What About My Kids?

We passionately believe in the importance of family and ensuring that your children are taught about Jesus in a way that is accessible and relevant.

All of our services are family friendly and open to all. Some weeks we have all age worship where everyone does church together.

On weeks where the Whole Church Gatherings are taking place (1st and 3rd Sunday) Sunday School and creche services are provided. Simply register your child for Sunday School as you enter the building.

On Mid Size Community weeks the kids ministry will form part of the whole service.
